Chief Executive and Consulting Lead
Jon holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Management Development & Organisational Change, both from the University of Bristol. Following a successful consulting career as an occupational psychologist, he was appointed Organisation Development Manager and then Head of Learning & Development for a major UK energy business, from where he joined the Edgecumbe Group in 2008.
His main areas of interest are senior management assessment and development, building leadership capability, employee engagement and organisational change. He has extensive UK and international experience of business integration and reorganisation. Jon is an Associate Fellow at Saïd Business School where he contributes to their Executive Education programmes.
Sarah leads on our research and assessment services, including Primary Colours Surveys and our 360 degree feedback tools, and has led our work with key clients such as Bunzl plc, BSI, NEC Group, UNISON, Harvey Nichols and Oasis Healthcare.
Sarah has been with us since 2008. She holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology from the University of London and is experienced in research methods and executive assessment and development. Sarah has focussed significantly over the last 10 years on the measurement and improvement of organisational culture and employee engagement, specifically transferring research and theory into practical reports and tools, as well as actionable guidance.
Sophie is a Consultant at Edgecumbe and has been with us since 2009, working across both our Corporate and Health businesses. Experienced in assessment methodology and psychometrics, Sophie specialises in leadership assessment and development, mainly with middle and senior executives in large, multi-national corporate environments.
Following her first degree in Psychology, Sophie obtained her MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Leicester and is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society, holding Level A and B certification in Psychological Testing.
Sophie is passionate about helping leaders develop their potential and has particular research interests in women in leadership.
Following an initial career as a Process Improvement Consultant and running her own Dance Lessons company in Gran Canaria, Bhavna joined us in June 2015. Bhavna holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Nottingham and is an accredited user of psychometric tests.
Alongside working with some of our largest clients, such as Bunzl plc and Connect Group, helping them to measure and improve their employee engagement, Bhavna has been working on internal research projects and has developed a passion for HR analytics and data visualisation. She hopes to help our clients to gain more insight and value out of their employee surveys, psychometric tests and 360-degree feedback assessments by linking this data to organisational outcomes.
Chloe joined us in 2015 after completing a BSc in Psychology at the University of Exeter and the CIPD certificate in HR.
She works alongside consultants to support them in the delivery of leadership assessment and development, employee engagement and research projects. Chloe has developed a keen interest in employee engagement whilst at Edgecumbe and has since become the technical lead of our Primary Colours Online Reporting System. Chloe continues to develop her skillset and is currently studying towards a Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology, and eventually aims to become a Chartered practitioner.
Patrick joined us in August 2016 as a Masters graduate in Sports Psychology. His role involves the set-up, analysis and reporting of our survey and assessment projects. Pat has also developed a keen interest in advanced HR analytics and has recently completed an exciting research project with the Cabinet Office.
Pat brings a fresh and unique perspective from his studies in Sports Psychology, helping us and our clients to think about how to maximise their people’s motivation, commitment and performance.
Client Project Coordinator
Jo joined our Project Management team in June 2015. Her role involves organising and controlling project activities for employee research projects, as well as leadership development programmes. Prior to working with us, Jo has a wealth of Project and Event Management experience working in a number of different industry sectors within similar roles.
Jo is very enthusiastic and committed to building on her skills, recently achieving her APM Certificate in Project Management. She has a first class honours degree in Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
Office Manager and Client Project Coordinator
Johannah joined the company in 2016 and is an experienced Office Manager, responsible for carrying out a wide range of management and administrative tasks to enable and support the smooth and safe running of the business.
Johannah is also part of the Client Project Coordinator Team and provides support to our corporate business for leadership development programmes and employee engagement research.

Mel is one of the team’s longest standing members, having joined us in 2006. Since then, Mel has been supporting our employee engagement, leadership development and training projects, providing co-ordination, client communication and document production.
Mel manages Edgecumbe’s work with Oxford Saiid Business School, ensuring our consultant’s sessions run smoothly.
